What to do with your crush? 😊😊😊

unrequited love | via TumblrThere are lots of people in the world; handsome people, beautiful people, they're all over the place. But why is there only a handful of people that catches your attention? And maybe a person or two that you want to get involved with? Liking someone is part of your own taste and preferences in choosing a partner. But isn't it frustrating that no matter how hard you try, she just doesn't like you back? Do you even got to the point where you question yourself, "Is it just me or she just likes someone else?" Life's a bitch, they say. But don't worry, my friend. I'm here to clear your cloudy thoughts.

HeartbreakUpon reading "Ramon Bautista's book-Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo?"- here are things that you should do when it comes to your crush!
Number one: Never admit that you had a crush on them before. Because it's hard to lose a nice reputation of being a person with the taste!
Number Two: Whenever she tries talking to you, pretend that you are busy or not interested. Let your best friend do all the talking with her, then ask about it later.
Number Three: Since you've already moved on, it's time to delete all of her pictures in your computer! You shouldn't reminisce the past when she dumped you.
Number Four: Post happy pictures of your self! It's a subtle way of thanking God that you guys didn't get together.
And Lastly Pretend that you don't remember her. Do this when with cool friends! You are now popular, and they will think that she is one of your stalkers!

Follow me on tumblr @ chips0.tumblr.com Think I'm done? Well guess what? There's more! If you want to get even with the girl who dumped you, here are the things you must do. Ready?
First, don't give a reply to her texts, tweets, and FB messages. Hashtag mysterious effect. Second, tell everyone that she has a crush on you! Third, be rich, so that she'll regret not being with you more!Fourth, if you will ever see her, borrow money! It's okay because she likes you anyway! And lastly, fifth, go and dump her! That's what you call karma!

Remember: it's hard to get friendzoned, but it surely is easy to get even!

"Parasyte: The Maxim" Movie Review

Parasyte ; The Maxim is a manga based  “Kiseiju: Sei no Kakuritsu” illustrated by Hitoshi Iwaaki.

The story starts with an worm -like alien called Parasyte trying to invade Shinichi Izumi (Sota Sometani) that time he was asleep when the alien is trying to crawl inside Shinichi's ear but  there is an earphone blocking his way.The alien do it again in order to live he decided to enter through his right hand. Finally , the alien successfully entered in Shinichi's body.Next morning ,he woke up he feel something wrong until he saw something comes out in his right hand and this alien nameis Migi (Sadao Abe).

Shinichi was able to prevent Migi from traveling further up into his brain, both of them are able retain their separate intellect and personality. As the duo encounter other Parasytes, they capitalize on their strange situation and gradually form a strong bond, working together to survive. This gives them an edge in battling other Parasytes, who frequently attack the pair upon realization that Shinichi's human brain is still intact. Shinichi feels compelled to fight other Parasytes, who devour humans as food, while enlisting Migi's help.

They end up fighting other Parasytes who attack them after realizing that Shinichi's human brain is still intact. These other Parasytes devour humans as food, and Shinichi ends up fighting them with Migi's help. As the two of them encounter more Parasytes, they end up forming a strong bond as they work together to survive. As the story ends, Shinichi together with Migi would do their best to kill those bad parasites living on other's body.

It was amazing, thrilling, exciting and interesting movie. The quality is good .Some scenes was gross especially when the Parasytes are eating humans and it really shown in the movie.

A week for SOM's students

It's official as the opening ceremony of  SOM week held on October 26, 2015 at Asia Pacific College ,Parking lot, 10:30 am.There were lots of activities and booths inside the Cafeteria like SOM fair , SOM Fright Night ,TMysteries ,Mr. and Ms. SOM 2015 ,Halloween Movie Marathon etc.
I went to  SOM Fright Night last October 29,2015 at Asia Pacific College ,Cafeteria, 6;30 pm. Just like the Frosh Night there were photo booths. foods , dance floor etc.  we just enjoyed the night because it's our time to have fun and tomorrow will be a normal day.

I also tried to join in TMysteries but unfortunately there were no slots available because it's a First Come,First Serve I just realized that it will be a fun activity. TMysteries is a detective game wherein you will solve a the mystery on why is that crime happened.  Luckily, I have the chance or opportunity not to play the game but I'm the one who will threaten some of the players so that they will be more confused on what their doing. It's was fun with the other Tourism Management(TM) students and I feel like I'm one of them.
Coronation of  Mr. and Ms. SOM
The Mr. and Ms. SOM 2015 was the last activity I went for the last day of SOM week held at APC Auditorium .I am cheering for the representative of Accounting Students together with my blockmates and other higher year of AC students. As not we expected one of our representative won as a 2nd Runner Up but it's okay there will be chance we won and we lost sometimes.

The SOM Week is quite fun and exciting but I think that it would be better if it was held a week before the Midterms examination and it will make students difficult to study because they will be cramming just to be done on reviewing their past lessons in late night.

The Anti-Smoking campaign ❤❤

Last October 21,2015, at Multi-purpose hall number of Asia Pacific College (APC)  the campaign for the Anti-Smoking Seminar meant to aware us,the APC students on what are the risks and dangers of smoking to their health and also what are the best thing to do to able not to be a victim of it .There are two guest speakers whose invited to give their speeches. The first one is a former chain smoker and the second one is a doctor that came from a prestigious hospital.

The first speaker, a cancer party list of "New Vois Ass'n. of the Philippines Inc."  he also had a throat cancer and regular smoker that's why he was using a robotic device near his throat so that he could speak but not anymore be back from his normal voice. He told us the reasons about why he got his vocal chords sound likes a robot because he continuously smoke that results him to have a tumor in throat.Smoking may cause a person lost his/ her concentration and focus. As the speech ended, he gave us warning not to smoke anymore because it may destroyed our health conditions and smoking will only cause an early death.

The second speaker, told us what are the cause and effect of smoking. He told us that a cigarette contains dangerous chemicals especially Carbon Monoxide and Nicotine that causes a lot of harm to a person’s body.He told us that smoking makes an individual become depressed on what his/her surroundings would be . It may also be the reason why they have difficulty in concentrating, decreased heart rate, and weight loss. As he end his speech , he also warned us to stop smoking so that we can have a healthy lifestyle and to lower the chance of dying at a very young age.

"Stop it as soon as possible so that in the end there would be not regret to your actions"

"Turn left, turn right" Movie Review

I watched this movie last October 9,2015 at Asia Pacific College, Audio Visual Room (AVR),9:30 am. Turn Left Turn Tight is based on the best-selling illustrated love story of the same name by renowned Taiwanese author/artist, Jimmy Liao.
John and Eve missing each other

The story is all about John Liu , an inspiring violinist and Eve Choi, professional translator .The two are meant to each other but their paths never cross as they are staying in the same apartment building. One day, John is walking around a fountain in the park and also Eve they bump into each other and it was a love at first sight.Unfortunately, a sudden rains shower cuts the encounter short. They manage to exchange telephone numbers but the rain renders the phone numbers illegible. As the movie goes on , they are both trying to reach each others thru phone calls but then everytime John will call Eve and Eve will call John their lines are busy .There is one instance that an earthquake happened  the two couple realized that they really love each other and because Eve and John already met since their grade school times because of it they just knew they are neighbors. Finally, the movie ended as they live happily ever after.

I love this movie. It is simple. It is about two people who are so meant for each other, but always missed out on meeting each other. The two lead players are so gorgeous, and had so much chemistry, that you just smile everytime you think about the movie. They played their characters very well, interesting and simple. The movie is a straight on adaptation of Jimmy Liao's comic. And it is done very well without becoming boring. The cinematography is so stylistically done that every shot is like a postcard. Definitely one of the movies that I would rewatch over and over.

"Ang Tatay mong Kalbo"

Our professor required us to watch play entitled "Ang tatay mong Kalbo" held on  October 10,2015 at Asia Pacific College (APC), MPH1, 1:00 p.m.  The play let a question remain to the audience like "How will the flows of the play easy to understand?" "Ang tatay mong kalbo" by Isagani R.Cruz ,PhD. It is performed by Teatre Phileo .

The play is a story all about a couple named Mr. and Mrs. Santos who were discussng with each other. While Mr. And Mrs. Santos keeps arguing with each other and suddenly their Maid, Maria told them that Mr. And Ms. Reyes would be coming to visit.Mr. and Mrs. Reyes were already in their house and they tell some stories when a local firemen and Maria's lover ,General Hepe arrived at their home and he ask if there is a fire at the place. They quickly respond to his question and said ,"No there's no fire here". General Hepe horribly looks like there are so many question on his mind and make things worst  when he heard it, then he cry like a baby and he share some stories about fire and firemen like if there's no fire ,no salary. Finally , General Hepe decided to go home and ask the question "Nasaan ang tatay mong Kalbo?" and Mr. Santos replied that he is still combing his hair again and again.

Based on my own observation ,I probably say that some scene on the play happens in real life .First of all , Mr. And Mrs. Santos continously arguing even if it's a small things to argue with like couples today, they are fighting that really cause them to break up to each other. Second,  Mr. And Mrs. Reyes are very sweet to each other and if one done something wrong they will resolve it by act of something sweet some keeps tickling ,cuddling etc. to ask for forgiveness.Lastly, General Hepe and Maria love affair which shows that some will easilly judge because they has a same gender like female between female and male between male .

The whole cast of "Ang tatay mong kalbo"

After watching the play, I realized some things that really happen in true life .I would say that it was a quite nice play and the actors and actresses are great to respesent each role and to help us to understand the play. I highly recommended this for some who doesn't yet watch it.

Best PH film today, 'Heneral Luna'

Antonio Luna would have been an easier man to understand if he were a conventional Philippine hero. In fighting for independence from Spain, Jose Rizal advocated for a peaceful revolution through his pen, while Andres Bonifacio initiated guerrilla warfare with his bolo.
History was not as kind to General Luna whose brutal murder eclipsed his many talents and virtues, even when he was prone to bombast. He was a writer, poet, pharmacist, an excellent guitar player and martial artist who, in Belgium, studied military strategy and the use of field fortifications, trenches and guerrilla warfare. For most of his critics, however, he was simply a hothead.

This move compels Luna to suggest a pre-emptive strike against the Americans before more of them could land in Manila, but he was ignored. The inevitable happens. The war between the Filipinos and Americans ensues with the latter seen committing atrocities against Filipinos, young and old, men and women. The war takes its toll on the ill-equipped Filipino soldiers.

The scenes settle down later on a long table with cabinet members on the side and — on opposite sides of the table — General Luna and President Emilio Aguinaldo. This is where the other war begins and where the war of words would later escalate to more feuds. If one is to understand politics, you know the person with the tight lip could prove to be an even more dangerous enemy.

Director Jerrold Tarog draws out these scenes with admirable restraint, just showing enough to set us up for another story, about a crusty general who spawns enemies in government and among his ranks.

If one asks why yet another historical epic (and there’s been a couple of them coming from the Philippines), it’s only because the audience has seen many previous efforts suffer under the weight of their own self-importance, with their focus on gloss, craft and little else by way of imagination or respect for their audience.

What sets “Heneral Luna” apart from other historical epics is its relevance to this day. It’s a convincing wake-up call from the past. It also spares us the paralyzing self-consciousness, if not stagey scenes and florid dialogue affectations that afflict other epics and keep us shackled in the past.

Yes, the enemy is still us. It’s a tale as old as Luna’s but a recurring theme in modern-day Philippine politics. “When will we ever get it?” the movie seems to implore even if it’s stated clearly by Luna, “Our enemies are ourselves.”

2. Holding On

Treasure the people around you; your family, friends and everyone you interact with. Don't take people for granted, be thankful for even having one because there would be others who would want to be in your position.

I don't always trust someone so easily but I did. I did what you would normally do with a friend; do silly stuff, sleep in a room together, eat tons of sweets and share anything. We knew each other for quite a while but she went away - in another country. So, I wanted to see her and give her this book full of our memories. Anyway, we planned on meeting each other for three different days, eating and just hanging out.

First day.
I arrived at our meeting place with my other friends and waited but she texted saying "Hey, Can we just meet on Friday? Since everyone won't be able to attend." And I replied back "Sure".

I didn't mind it at first, since it meant I have extra time to do the book.

Second day.
I was getting ready and then she called me saying "Let's move it to next week, I have to finish something".

Third, last day.
We were all there, waiting for her. The book finished and was impressively wrapped, There were about fifteen+ letters inside that were written from different people who she knew. We waited for two hours and she still wasn't there. I decided to text her and she replied minutes after saying, "I can't come today., I have a dentist appointment."
I was very hurt and said, "We're all here, we waited for a long time."  Then, she didn't reply.

I was very sad. I guess she wasn't really a true friend, and I learned it the hard way.

After weeks, I gave her the book by taking pictures of it and sent it to her. I felt bad for the people who wrote their feelings and greetings on paper. I told her
"You're lucky that a lot of people will remember you but in turn, please remember them too."
And the rest is history.

I always cherish my friends, and the people I hold dearly because I experienced not having any. I knew the feeling of utter loneliness and isolation which is why, it hurts so much that someone would ditch you or disappear without any goodbyes.

For me, NOTHING - even materialistic things - can ever replace the feeling of love and comfort with other people. Yes, I have few people that I label as a "true friend" since they proved it to me on many occasions. I'm also picky when it comes to labeling a person as a "Best Friend", I only had one - which was on grade school- considering, I really want to get to know someone really well and to be able to tell that person all my fears, secrets and experiences.

In my opinion, the main qualities of a true friend are the following: when you could bully each other and not be mad with all the teasing; when you have a problem or needed someone to talk to, you would call him/her or meet up in each other's place or at the mall; when you have some similarities and differences. I guess the most important thing is that you're comfortable with that person.

I noticed in my circle of friends that we have the love for eating, we would try anything and drool on food that we see in social media. then we would start planning on going to a certain restaurant to try their delicacies. We would also talk for hours in the library, mall, or any place that's cold - the longest one so far was four or five hours straight!.

Yes, It's not easy to find a true friend but always be yourself and time will lead you to those who will make a big bang on your life.

1. Limitless

To my dearest reader,

Hi!!:))

(When I was still a baby girl of Mom and Dad)

My complete name is Michenette Kayle Acera Baruc, it's pretty complicated right? If people asked to pronounce or even spell my name and every mistake I'll get a Peso, ahem! I may be rich. Hahahaha but don't worry other people call me Miche. I was born on Eighteenth of February, 18 years ago. I spent 17 years in my hometown Taguig with my beloved parents. I have just one brother and sister. They are four year younger than me. My father work at Philippine Transmarine Corporation as a Seafarer and my mother besides taking care of household, she is a Photographer. My sister was studying at Asia Pacific College aiming to have a degree of BS Accountancy. I’m studying at there too, but I chose BS Tourism Management. These are some information in the glimpse of my life.

Let me tell you what am I doing in my life, well, My whole world becomes different since I have graduated from High School. I’m doing all the things by myself. Spoon feed no more, my life is completely mine. Managing me is the hardest thing that I ever known. It’s been 3 years I stayed in APC. My everyday activities included going to campus, doing assignments, studying, available on social network, and hanging out. I want to join some affiliations to waste my spare time. I intend to expand my ability, dance. I was growing up in art family. My aunties are dancer so do with my dad and my brother’s good in music.

I have some interests. I’m totally enjoyed reading novels, I waste my pocket just to buy some novels. My favorite is novel by Danielle Steel. It gives me such great inspiration to knowing life, love and people. I also like to writing but I’m bad in mathematics. My brain is just getting slow when I demand it to count something. I’m a lazy, lounge, and moody person. My best is smile as always.

My goals are to pass each semester with the best result so that can make my parent proud, become helpful person for my family, friends, people and this country. I also want to get better in every subject, active in groups, throw away my lazy time and be a professional. :)

Love,
